Red River Ski Vacation
Red River, New Mexico is home to one of the most popular ski resorts in the United States, and has for many decades. The resort offers six chair lifts and a ski lift, and the roads are equally divided for beginners, intermediates and experts.
Elevation of Red River is 10,354 meters and the height difference down the face of the mountain is 1601 meters. Unfortunately there is not much snow, and about 85% of the powder is man made. There are 58 Stretches for 247 acres scattered. Red River, is known as "Ski Town of the Southwest.
The resort has three restaurants which are all wonderful Kitchen. Accommodations are available in cabins, chalets, cottages or private condominiums in the region, accommodation and many packages and ski packages are available through Red River Central reservations. Red River also offers snow ski passes allow free skiing for children, and young people on skis at discounted prices. This is a good way to save money for your family ski holiday.
Red River also has a ski school and group lessons and private lessons are available. Even if They have never been on skis, you are on the fast track to your teaching. The nightlife in Red River is also large. According to one days on the slopes You sit back and relax in the lodge, or visit one of the taverns in the area. For the younger ones, there is ample room in the center of the city. One of the great things about Red River is that everything is in walking distance of the accommodation areas, and shuttles for transportation provided to and from the slopes.
Enjoy scenic drives under chairlift, hiking, biking, horseback riding, camping, snow mobiling, and hunting. You can even one of the Jeep tours go to see the abandoned gold mines in the region. So, even if you do not ski, there are still plenty of fun to have the Red River Ski Resort.
Childcare is available, If your day on the slopes. Your child will be cared for in the Li'l Buckaroos Child Care Facility, and the center provides lunch for your child. At Red River, all care and was thought to be to ensure that your ski holiday is as pleasant as possible.
